Week Two – Xactimate 27.5 and 28 (Comprehensive)
OK…now the fun stuff! You know the types of losses, how to interpret policy, how to read a Loss Report, how to scope a loss and now it is time to learn how your knowledge will be applied . Week three is in the Lab, learning how to use Xactware 27.5 in its entirety. You will learn the Sketch function and understand how to utilize the building cost database. In addition, you will receive expert instruction on the various types of building materials and how they relate to Xactimate Codes. We will wrap up the week discussing multiple case studies, apply each in Xactimate by generating complete completed claims each will be sent up and down through Xactnet just as you will do in the real world environment.
Here at ACI we go a step further and show you the review function or back-end of Xactware. You will review files just as a carrier or manager would yours. This will allow you to see the other side of the fence and make you better prepared when finalizing your files.
Week Three– FIELD ASSIGNMENT
Show us whatcha got! You will be assigned claims. You will apply the claims process and respond to that claim. You will adjust the claim. You will write up your report in either Xactimate or MSB. Your file will be reviewed. We will help you update and write your resume so it speaks to this industry. Further, we will offer you the opportunity to upload and post your updated resume (at our direction) on our partners' industry specific websites. Finally, ACI will provide you with contacts for vendors, staffing companies, head hunters and insurance carriers that all actively seek professional adjusters.
The ACI Difference
While here at ACI, you will find the focus is on "Real World" field training. Each student will have multiple opportunities for "Ride Alongs" and "Shadowings" on actual claims with our local ACI field staff adjusters. Clearly, this format sets ACI apart and will provide you with a realistic approach to scoping, writing, and policyholder interaction. Simply put, this hands on type of instruction can not be obtained within a simulated mock-up training environment.
Further, our curriculum is approved for 3 Graduate Level College Credits!! ACI has worked with the leading authority and most respected name in the industry (Insurance Institute of America) to select your study lessons.
Ultimately, our "Real World" approach, supported by highly-experienced, accredited instructors (CPCU, AIC, AIM, ARM, INS), are the primary reasons students look to and subsequently enroll with, ACI.
